The Western Province Sports Council fully supports: · The statement in the Preamble to The South African Constitution: “Healing the divisions of the past and establishing a society based on democratic values, social justice and fundamental human rights”.
· The South African Bill of Rights: “No person ... may unfairly discriminate directly or indirectly against anyone on one or more grounds, including race, gender, sex, pregnancy, marital status, ethic or social origin, colour, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, conscience, belief, culture, language and birth.”
It is in the best interests of all that the demographics of our society are fully represented. We fully promote equal opportunities being given to all people.
